Land and Cultural RightsAt Evonaire, we recognize that our work and this digital sanctuary exist on lands cared for by Indigenous peoples long before us. We honor the original caretakers and cultural wisdom keepers whose knowledge, voices, and stories shape our world. We are committed to moving beyond acknowledgment into meaningful action, support, and solidarity.Evonaire acknowledges that our work in San Francisco takes place on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone people. We honor their elders past and present, and we recognize their continuing presence and contributions to this region. Our Commitments1. Indigenous Sovereignty and Cultural ConsentWe respect the sovereignty of Indigenous nations and the right of all peoples to protect, control, and define their own cultural and spiritual knowledge. On Evonaire, creators and communities set their own boundaries and terms for how their rituals, languages, and traditions are shared, or not shared, on the platform.2. Licensing, Protection, and Redistributive JusticeWe provide legal, ethical, and technical tools for Indigenous and culturally-rooted creators to license, protect, or restrict access to their offerings. Royalties and redistributive fees return to creators and communities, supporting self-determination and local initiatives, including land stewardship and cultural revitalization.3. Partnership for Land Back and ReparationsEvonaire is committed to supporting land return and reparative justice in every region where we operate. We seek partnership with Indigenous-led organizations and land trusts to direct a portion of our platform fees, gifts, and community revenue into Land Back campaigns and cultural preservation projects.4. Cultural Safety and CareWe work in dialogue with Indigenous advisors and our Prism Circle to review content, flag potential harm, and ensure sacred knowledge is treated with the highest respect. Our “sacred ground” warnings and consent-first licensing place creators and elders in charge, not the platform or outsiders.5. Ongoing Reflection and AccountabilityWe invite feedback and co-governance from Indigenous and local communities. We know our commitment must keep growing. Our responsibility is to listen, learn, and share power, never to appropriate or profit from what is not ours to hold.Call to ActionIf you are an Indigenous creator, knowledge keeper, or organizer, we invite you to connect with us directly. Let us know how Evonaire can best support your sovereignty, your land, and your culture. If you are a member, partner, or ally, please consider supporting Indigenous-led organizations and learning about the original peoples of your own region.Together, we can build a digital sanctuary rooted in respect, justice, and repair.
